Good day, everyone!
On a sunny day towards the beginning of July, I decided to go for a hike. I went on a hike to the Kanneliya area with my friends. The forest complex Kanneliya–Dediyagala–Nakiyadeniya, or KDN, is located in southern Sri Lanka. UNESCO classified the forest area as a biosphere reserve in 2004. Apart from Sinharaja, the KDN area is Sri Lanka's only big surviving rainforest. This forest has been designated as one of South Asia's most botanically diverse places. The forest complex is 35 kilometers northwest of Galle.
