Hey there Leslie, yes even on Hive there is at least one person who is bashing Deepdives and Informationwar communities because they think that it is made up of "conspiracy theories". The point of Hive, as you say, is that theorists are free to discuss the government and their conspiracies, of which there are several real ones.

Mainstream people cannot understand how their govt is able to be the captured and actually against them. Hive allows freedom of thought, so we will sometimes get opposing opinions of course.
