The Challenges of Posting in Portuguese
Posting in Portuguese on Hive or in the "tribes" of Hive as POB has several challenges. The biggest challenge is perhaps that we do not have a solid audience of users who are "consumers" of Portuguese language content on this platform.
Portuguese and Brazilian users here at Hive have practically disappeared from the platform in recent years, especially from 2017 onwards. The Portuguese "community" between Steem and Hive has been reduced too much over the years.
In addition, many Brazilians like me today produce and continue to produce their content for the platform, but now in English.
Another immense challenge is precisely this, that of abandoning our communication entirely in Portuguese and making all of our posts in English. This is one of my difficulties, because my English today is very limited, and I am not up to date in my studies.
I like and prefer to communicate in my language, because I feel more comfortable expressing my opinions, developing more elaborate posts, but, I have to focus on audience and rewards at this moment. Unfortunately, posts in the English language here on my Hive and POB blog will follow this way.
I pray that one day we may be able to produce content in Portuguese without fear of not being seen, voted and of building our audience in this ecosystem.

A comunidade espanhola publica ambos os idiomas usando tradutores. Estou a usar um tradutor para te escrever isto também.

Utilizo essa ferramenta também , mas possuem falhas gramaticais e de verbo.
At first Hive was made for only English speakers. With time I think they Incorporated other languages. I understand your unhappiness at not feeling free to speak your language here, I think the only remedy is finding your fellow Portuguese speaking friends and sticking together and trying to grow.

Mas sim, eu sou um dos que praticamente abandonou a ideia de escrever unicamente em ptbr. Por que eu vi que não compensava. Mas 90% das vezes escrevo inglês/português no mesmo texto.
E sinceramente, uma sugestão é: Escreva em português. Bonitinho. Depois traduz com o google ou qualquer app. Depois passa num aplicativo de correção da "fluidez" da sua linguagem, como o Grammarly. Depois cola no post e lê com olhar de estudante de inglês. Encontra possíveis erros e bobeiras que a inteligência artificial comete e pronto.
Sempre tento fazer isso, mas sempre acho que falta alguma coisa. É complicado. O negócio é tentar e ir martelando até acertar. Valeu!
Também fiquei aborrecida que a comunidade brasileira da época do Steemit meio que se dissipou e agora precisamos escrever mais em ingles para ter visibilidade.
Verdade minha querida. Todo mundo sumiu ou se dividiu. Cada um pro seu lado e aquela união que tínhamos não se tem mais, infelizmente. Grande abraço!

Eu abro o google tradutor, digito o texto em portugues e colo a versao ingles, comece a escrever por lá que não precisará se preocupar com o inglês em dia ou não
Acredito que o maior problema não é o número de usuários, e sim como eles interagem com a plataforma, como qualquer quantia aqui nos ajuda muito por nosso moeda ser desvalorizada, retiramos direto os ganhos, e essa mentalidade precisa mudar para que cresçamos e façamos algum nome por aqui
