Occupation - In the Streets of Recife, Brazil by @jsantana
The housing issue is a major problem in Brazil. The natural right to property, to have a home to live with your family is the struggle of many poor families in Brazil.
In this time of economic crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people lost their jobs and without money to pay their rent, had to go to live on the streets. Very sad when I walk the streets of the city and see whole families living on the streets.
This photo is a record I made of an abandoned building in the central region of Recife. Today several families live in it who, without a decent house, had to occupy this building so that they could have their natural property rights guaranteed.
The title of this photo I put: "Occupation" ("Ocupação" in portuguese)

Thank you @jsantana, for using the CO2 Compensation Coin (COCO / SWAP.COCO) on Steem-Engine or on Hive-Engine to reduce your CO2 footprint. You want to join? Buy some COCO / SWAP.COCO and transfer them to CO2Fund's account @co2fund.
Covid has created a K shaped recovery with the rich doing better than they were and many poor people doing worse. It would be good if the government could step in to provide temporary housing to allow people to get back on their feet.
Agreed! Thank you!
