Dillian Whyte knocks out Alexander Povetkin in Gibraltar rematch
Dillian Whyte regained his hope for a world title shot as he successfully revenged against Alexander Povetkin in the 4th round of the rematch.
British boxer Whyte came into the match with all hopes of gaining his glory and he did so in style has he knocked out Povetkin.
The 32 year-old Briton sent a right hand that push Povetkin backwards then another that sent him to the ropes before sealing it up with a left hook that floored the Russian.
Povetkin who have only lost twice in all of his 39 fights, one coming from Wladimir Klitschko and the other from Anthony Joshua suffered a third loss after falling to defeat in Gilbratar.
Whyte who lost his position for title shot in August after been defeated Russian heavyweight called for an immediate rematch and his victory today reopens the door.
