Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young diagnosed with lateral left ankle sprain

Atlanta Hawks player Trae Young who sustained an injury in the game against New York Knicks has been diagnosed with Grade 2 lateral ankle.

The incident occured in the third quarter when the point guard landed and twisted his ankle after a short floater shot.

Young registered 20 points and 14 assists in game against Knicks in which Hawks eventually lost at 137-127.

After the MRI results on Thursday, the point guard is expected to be out for about two games and will return when the swelling and discomfort has cleared.
