We are alive, October 11, 2022. My Boy Had a Fever But He's Better Now

The camping adventures continue. The weather was beautiful today until it poured rain in the evening. My boy spiked a fever from an infection we were treating and thought was eliminated. We spent half the day today in town at urgent care.

While mamma and the boy were at the urgent care, daddy and the two youngest children visited the laundrymat. While we were there a very kind lady gave my children suckers.

The diagnosis fory my boy was a UTI and we got a prescription for antibiotics to treat the infection. We are grateful that even while camping, we have access to medical assistance.

My boy is feeling much better now.

I hope your boy for a speedy recovery. We have had illnesses whilst on vacation and it is good to have access to medical care. I remember in Italy, luckily they didnt speak much English, but were very helpful.

Glad everything turned out ok in the end. The language difference must have been difficult to manage.

Thanks, it was a scare, but it worked out in the end. Mostly caused by my daughter not blowing her nose and sniffing instead and getting infected. All kids are different I guess! lol

Aaaah. I've just had sick kiddos too. Horrible. Frustrating as a parent but the 24 hour gastro was over quickly just dealing with still sensitive tummy's and not quite themselves children. Happy Sukkot. We are packing up our tent tomorrow
