Post Birthdays / Post Sabbath Hustle

After having company over last night, and a restful day today, it's time to get the week started again. We're recharged and ready after a pleasant evening and restful Sabbath.

Now it's back to the grind, back to the hustle, back to our prime-directive: educating and preparing our children, supporting our household (financially) and managing our household (practically).

The Cleanest the House Has Been For A While

The comment we heard the most as people arrived last night is "the house looks so clean!" It's not that the house is "dirty" normally, but with a family of 8 (with 6 young children), it can be challenging keeping things neat and tidy.

Our children are growing a fondness for things being in their place and a fondness for a tidy house. It's an ACQUIRED taste, children are naturally content living in a messy house and if you visit at certain times, you'll see what I mean.

But visit on Friday evening, and you'll see the effort of a clean house, ready for a restful Sabbath.
