My First Ashwaghanda Plants

IMG_20210526_181425660.jpg

This is my first time growing Ashwaghanda plants in the garden. They are Little now, but with some care and dillegence, I'm hoping for some good sized plants. The roots and berries are valuable. Tea from the roots is an excellent antioxidant and has cancer preventative properties. Ashwaghanda helps regulate cortisol levels, helping with stress responses and aiding in general health.

I have not heard about Ashwaghanda so far. Good to know that it has berries, and you can also use its roots to make some good tea.

You are my guest for a !PIZZA.

Have a nice day.

Yes, the berries can be used as a rennet substitute to make CHEESE! Perfect for that yummy pizza, thank you!

Awesome! I have three growing well, remains to be seen if they handle the frost. I've been eating the leaves when I'm in the garden, quite bitter but I figure they're good for me. I love this herb a lot.

Ashwaganda berries for rennet? I know stinging nettle is the old recipe for cheesemaking but ashwaganda? It's already such an amazing herb. I wish I could find some over here
