PREMIER LEAGUE: Tottenham manager Nuno Espirito Santos is now on the brink of being sacked

A good number of Tottenham supporters and board members have been left unimpressed over the attitude of current boss Nuno Espirito Santos.
With that in mind, a further loss to Manchester United on Saturday was more reason to believe that Nuno Espirito Santos is not the right man for the Tottenham job.
Little wonder Tottenham's managing director Daniel Levy and a couple of board members, have held serious emergency talks over the future of Nuno.

Reasons behind the emergency meeting:

There were two major reasons behind the board meeting held by chairman Daniel Levy.

First reason:

One of the reasons was due to the fact that Tottenham has been unimpressive this season.
The Spurs side have only managed to escape defeat twice in their last seven league matches.

Second reason:

Secondly, a team can be pardoned when they are defeated but the players represented themselves well. However, that has not proven to be the case of Nuno Espirito Santos lads.
Tottenham have not only been defeated, but the players have played badly as well whenever their team is defeated. Even in games where they eventually win, the players have never really looked convincing in their approach. Hence, the concern of Daniel Levy.

Summary:

Without a doubt, it is clear that the Tottenham board has been touched by the team’s poor performances.
Provided Nuno Espirito Santos cannot produce better results sooner, he may been shown the exit door in little or no time.
