Chelsea and German forward Timo Werner has come out to express gratefulness to the fans.
According to Werner, he insisted that it was a delight to know that he still had the support of many at the club. Considering the fact that he had struggled with poor goal scoring form.

Werner's arrival at Chelsea:

Ever since the German made his 53 million euros move from Leipzig to Chelsea, many expected his pace to be a constant threat to oppositions. However, that has not exactly been the case.
No doubt, Werner is a mastermind in terms of placing himself in goal scoring positions. However, when it comes to converting those chances created, he just lacks the ability.
The stats of Werner speak for themselves. So far, he has only managed 18 goals for Chelsea in all 79 appearances. Which is indeed poor considering how advanced he plays on the pitch.

Timo Werner's gratefulness:

It seems Werner's poor form has not only been disturbing to the fans. It has been quite disturbing to the player himself.
Hence, in a recent statement, Werner thanked all at Chelsea for their constant love. Pointing out that he would continue doing his best for the team.

He has been poor in front of goal, no doubt but I believe with the support, he can grow in confidence.

Well, he hasn't really gotten the time to play either.

When he did, he flopped...same with last season. He couldn't lead the line well and more reason Lukaku was brought in.

Yeah, but I feel we still had more chances with him on the pitch last season compared to how much we have had this season with Lukaku thanks to his ability to create spaces

That's true, he create chances but his problem is finishing. I think Tuchel changed his style because of Lukaku. It worked in the early season but not anymore.
