In a Monday night fixture in the Premier League, Crystal Palace were denied a victory courtesy a last-minute effort by French forward Alexander Lacazette
According to Palace midfielder Conor Gallagher, he admitted that the bitter taste of the draw felt like a loss.
Despite the draw, Arsenal Old boy and manager of Crystal Palace Patrick Viera gave a good account of himself on his return to the Emirates stadium.
Viera should that he is building a side capable of causing lots of upset to big Premier League teams.

Highlights on the first half:

Arsenal was brilliant in the opening exchanges of the game as they led by one goal to nil courtesy of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
However, after the goal for Arsenal, Crystal Palace began to get firm control of the game. Producing tons of chances before the climax of the first half.

Highlights on the Second period:

In the beginning of the second half, Crystal Palace continued their dominance scoring two goals in the process. The Patrick Viera-led side held on to their lead until the dying stages of the game.
Then came Lacazette who replaced Martin Odegaard. He came with a lot of ginger and energy to the game. His ability and never say never attitude was the reason behind Arsenal's equalizer.
They no doubt have Mikel Arteta to thank for such an inspired substitution.

Summary:

Despite the draw, Crystal Palace can pat themselves in the back for such a performance.
The players and manager gave their all and would be happy at least for the team's display on the night.
