Vitalik Buterin Weighed In On The Delay Of ETFs
The Ethereum co-fonder and developer weighed in on ETFs delay has he said the believes that the crypto industry needs more time to mature before we can talk about regulation about the system, seems he’s pretty glad about the continuous rejection of exchange traded funds applications.
What he meant about crypto currency is still at an early stage which he’s referring to institutional adoption of it. In this time frame the ecosystem should be able to attain to a certain growth which will come with a regulatory model preventing bad act from exploiting the system.
Another maybe-controversial take of mine is that I don't think we should be enthusiastically pursuing large institutional capital at full speed. I'm actually kinda happy a lot of the ETFs are getting delayed. The ecosystem needs time to mature before we get even more attention.
Basically, especially at this time, regulation that leaves the crypto space free to act internally but makes it harder for crypto projects to reach the mainstream is much less bad than regulation that intrudes on how crypto works internally.
