Triple A Movie Review: The Great Gatsby (2013), Tragic Love Story

To be honest, I have been rethinking the film since I finished watching the movie. I haven’t seen anything that the film really wants the audience to understand. If you don’t think about it, maybe this is a pure love story. A man meets a woman who makes him feel at an opportunity. However, there are things that force them to separate. Later, although the girl is married, when the man returns to her vision, she cannot control herself to love him. She wants to go with this man. However, she can't abandon her current husband, and the man can't leave the current business. For this, they are very upset. When they are upset, there is a tragedy. The Gatsby is dead in the final. The story is over.

I think this is about the movie, the details and characters in the movie need us to ponder. The story took place in the United States in the 1920s. It was a big background. All the stories happened on this basis. It was a time when rich people were born. At that time, everyone was unreasonable about money and reputation. At the beginning of the movie, this story is told by Nick. He recalls this story and tells us about Gatsby in his eyes. Nick is a man of this era in the story, but he follows the advice that his father left him with "trying to pay attention to the best side of others." Such advice has greatly influenced him.

His choice has brought the story to a new direction. All the way to stumble, the film is full of the taste of money. In this movie, there is no pair of people who really love each other. But also it seems to reflect the current society, most people is married because of money only.
