The Terrible Loss : A Freewrite

Sorry, I kept you waiting. That was all she said as she dashed out of the house that day, running after the bike that brought her in. It was an hour later we go to know of her accident. the one that claimed her life. That's a terrible one. It was a substantial loss for the family.

Maybe if we had cautioned her, she might not have been a victim. Maybe if we have made her pause a little, it might help. I don't know, maybe if we had done something different, it might have helped.
