THE WORLD NEAR ME

Hello everyone,

today after cleaning my accommodation all day, I left to discover the ancient Valerian road.

So I walked up to the bell tower with the fig.

little curiosity: at the beginning of the climb there is an abandoned house. It would be nice to restructure it and turn it into a small hotel. Maybe one day ...

so I left the road to the giant bench behind and set off for the unknown.

the road is very beautiful. it goes up for a while and then runs along the lake in a continuous up and down.

The track I have traveled has been made passable for disabled people.

as always the landscape is magnificent. He deserves every drop of sweat.

along the way I found some rocks with strange engravings.

I thought that the walking time indicated to do 3.5km was exaggerated, instead the road goes up and down continuously.

It's not really a walk in the park.

the road continues at a certain point I found a deviation that goes down towards SULZANO.

I went straight on but I know there is a path.

then continuing I arrived at the first destination

TASSANO

In reality the road is much longer and you can see it from this photo.

I think doing it all is like walking the Camino de Santiago. It could be a good workout.

in truth I was intent on reaching the second stage. I left but when the road started to go down I looked at the time and I decided to go back.

in the photo you can see the olive trees. they are often found on lakes and sublime oil is obtained from their lakes.

in returning, the change of point of view made me discover new things.

the land of toys for pinocchio beans. where children who do not study are transformed into donkeys. and just above, the church of San Fermo ...

from here on I photographed the landscape because sunset was approaching.

This is the view from the churchyard of San Fermo.

From what I understood before being a church, it was a shelter for travelers who walked the Valerian road.
