I Am Alive Challenge : December 7 2022

Today marks 2 years since the last presidential elections in Ghana. On 7th December 2020, the dollar rate as compared to the cedi was ¢5.46. Two years down the line, $1 is equal to ¢14.20. In just 2 years, the dollar has gained 2.5 times its value against the cedi. The government keeps bringing up new taxes and levies everyday. When others say there's a casting down, I will say there's a lifting up. With that, I'm not afraid. I thank God that I have food to eat, a place to sleep and clothes to wear. As time goes on, money for luxury will come too....even in this economy.
