Mike Ashley is out of Newcastle. The news hit the media on Thursday and it has caused a lot of speculation to run. One of the speculations is that manager Steve Bruce will soon be past the North English tradition club.

The Saudi investment fund Public Investment Fund does not see the 60-year-old Englishman as the man to take Newcastle to new heights. Steve Bruce has also noticed the speculation about his future.

According to the Mirror, it looks like the assistant coach for Steve Bruce, Graeme Jones, will get the position as head coach until a new name can be presented. The takeover went so fast that the new owners could not manage to get a manager in place.

On a rumor basis, names like Antonio Conte, Roberto Mancini and Zinedine Zidane have been mentioned, but it suggests that a deal with a manager is somewhat out in the future.

Steve Bruce has been at the helm of Newcastle United since 2019.
