Barcelona sign Turkish teenager
Barcelona is in a deep financial crisis and at the sporting level, the club has not gotten off to a good start with the new season. On the coaching front, Ronald Koeman's days also seem to have an end soon, but on Thursday the club was able to announce a rare positive news.
The Catalan big club has invested in the future by buying the 17-year-old Emre Demir from the Turkish club Kayserispor. It writes the club on its website.
Barcelona have reportedly given around 2 million for the young Turk, who will initially be associated with Barca B. Demir has signed a long contract that runs until 2027 and has a staggering buy-out clause of around 120 Million.
Demir completes the current season with Kayserispor before joining Barca B from next season.
