My Top 3 Christmas Movies, Yes, I'm a little grinch but I love the food and movies of these dates!

Christmas was for many years one of the times I hated the most, the only beautiful memories of these dates have been left to me by my paternal Grandmother, the one I learned so much about and always name in my publications, although she as well as I had a spirit of Grinch, loved the typical food of this month, and sharing with the family thanks to the family meetings that are always made. I grew up seeing also these dates as something commercial and a bit hypocritical, because many people disappear in the year and only appear on good night and old year to leave you a message they have copied from another that they have sent to them, which I did not like very much.
After the arrival of my son to my life, things have changed in every way for me, and this time could not escape it, because although my Christmas memories are not the best, I want to strive to leave the best memories of happy Christmas to my little Mathias, then although I continue to be a little Grinch, I see things from another point of view, and I must confess that some begin to like me even, although I still ask my relatives not to send me messages copied from somewhere hahaha.
Now, this month my beautiful guys @yourtop3 have chosen a Top 3 that I love, because I love Christmas movies, those that lead to dream and believe that miracles in Christmas do exist, the truth is that they had me in embers waiting to see us surprised this time, so I hope to close the year with good foot and make my Top3 a very good one, then without further ado, This is my entry into this month's Top 3 contest.

My Reasons for the Nomination
In the year 1990 when this film premiered, I was barely 7 years old, and I still remember how much fun I had and still continue to do with the mischiefs of this little boy, and I imagined what it would be like to be left at home at this time and I thought it was more fun than anything else, we were just moved to the house where we still live and I wanted my parents to leave me alone to do all those mischiefs. The innocence of childhood is truly unique. Today with 36 years old and a baby this movie and len total the whole trilogy still enchants me, although it is not something that for the moment amuses my little one, I am sure that later he will see it and enjoy it as I did.

How not to love her? she has an incredible cast and a spectacular soundtrack, plus an intertwined plot where love reigns at all times, something utopian and makes anyone dream and think that in the end everything we want can be obtained, I could not really leave this film out, I love her too much, and the truth is that I see her at any time of year, is really beautiful, also Hugh Grant is very sexy, hahaha.

I love Jim Carrey's movies, and this was not going to be the exception, and although a new animated version has come out, this is for me the best version, it's my favorite because it reflects a little of what I feel about these dates, and how in the end I end up contagious of the joy and good Christmas vibe, it's a movie I see every time I find it on TV channels, and now I see the animated version accompanied by my little one.

The truth is that there are many Christmas movies that I love, in fact I love all the Disney movies that allude to these dates, they are also very tender and entertaining, and as I told you before they end up taking out the inner child that I have, and they make me miss those years of my childhood where I didn't want to go to bed early on a good night because I wanted to see when Santa came to leave the gifts under the tree, they remind me of that innocence that we all carry and that many of us shouldn't lose, because it's something beautiful in each person.

Lovely choices this round! I'm actually really happy to see someone picked Love Actually. I enjoyed that one, as well. Home Alone and the Grinch are also classics! I would never have pegged you to be a grinch, haha. I'm glad the topic helped pull out some of your Christmas spirit. ;) The little ones really do have a way of making the holidays special. Homealone is an excellent choice. One of my favourites. I also like number 2.
Well I think that's the first time I've seen Love Actually entered in this month's contest, could be a tie breaker! Of course, Home Alone is featuring heavily on the choices now, think it will be a very popular one with the STEEM community and the Grinch is a great one too! The animated version from the 1960s is timeless!

You and i both share the same feelings and because I have kids as well, just like you, I have to bring in the holiday spirit to the household for them. This year the kids are favoring the grinch having watched it 3 times now lol.
