Lessons from the mass inductrination day 4 held on the 11th November 2021 via zoom
It was a great time listening to great teaching from bro Eli. A lot of lessons were learnt and I just want to share few from the lessons.
Philippians 4:6 KJV
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Mark 11:24 KJV
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them , and ye shall have them .
We need to pray with trust that God is Almighty and that your request will be answered.
We need to pray with thanksgiving.
The Commandment is that every Christian should pray, not to command mother of God to pray for us.
Matthew 15:36 KJV
And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them , and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
1 Timothy 4:4-5 KJV
For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: [5] For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
In everything, we should give thanks.
Prayer is a request from God.
Whether in difficult or comfort, we should know how to pray to God. We must maintain the line of communication.
2 Timothy 1:3 KJV
I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
We should pray without ceasing.
We should not repeat words when praying.
Matthew 6:7-8 KJV
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do : for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. [8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
Our prayer should be brief, concise, precise and without repetition.
2 Timothy 2:22 KJV
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Anyone who call on the Lord should do so with pure heart.
1 Peter 3:10 KJV
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
