Indoor + Outdoor Grow Diary Day 240 - Off-Grid Solar Powered LED Grow - Cuttings Now Almost 9 Weeks old

Hey folks, Graham here again with another update on the grow.

Its getting crazy warm here now but the plants are looking well healthy now they are getting loads more water.

I have not given them any food for a couple of weeks now, just water. I really need to get some. In the meantime i have another batch of compost tea on the go.

This is the Critical Peyote mother plant. It's really loaded with crystals and smells amazin. Kushy earthy vibes with a bit of diesel. This is REALLY potent weed, hence the name. Its a different high definitely. :)

Water serves as food to the plant. RIGHT?
What is the name of your puppy?

Yeah man..but there is nowhere near enough nutrients in water to properly feed a plant throughout its life. If i had any spare cash i would go to town and buy some organic plant food to add regularly.

Good soil has about 2-3 weeks worth of nutrients but weed loves nitrogen when its in vegetative growth. Not enough nitro is a common problem and is easy to spot as the plants stems turn purple...

Otherwise you can add various ingredients to the soil to supply the nutrients needed.

A great option is compost tea which is what i am doing now...if the compost is good then there will be plenty of nutrients.

The little white dog is called Tank Girl. :)

Peace, G.

Gosh, they look extremely healthy plants. You must be doing something right! I'd heard of tea compost before but looks like I now need to seriously look into it. I wonder how good it would be for my veg patch? How do you make/use it?

Thanks,they are a labour of love 😉

It's all about the seeds tbh. These are all really good genetics from Barney's Farm. All from their cali collection.

There is some information about compost tea here

I done a simpler version with only compost water and molasses.

Check this recent post.

Goodness me I had no idea! You're gonna laugh but I literally thought you were originally talking about making a compost out of teabags as I've heard of that too. This was not what I expected to be reading. Thanks for sharing the additional links. Looks like some serious dedication required to source and create a home brew lol. I must say, for the simplicity, I think I'll try your recipe instead :-)
