And The Angel Said.........My Actifit Report Card: December 18 2022

A nor’easter blew in overnight, and as we started towards church, it was at full force! There were times the horizontal snow was so thick, I couldn’t see where the road was! 😳

We arrived at church ⛪️ in one piece and proceeded into the building. After the sermon, the Sunday school students were doing the production of the birth of Jesus. As with all kids pageants, there is always something to make you laugh and this time was no different! The 3 Wisemen apparently were experiencing a bit of coordination issues and tripped up onto the stage! They were fine, but the gal reading the story almost lost it in a fit of laughter!🫢

Anyway, it turned out good. They did a fine job!

After church, we headed to the clinic. On Friday, because of how busy I was, I failed to pull insurance for the two Medicaid appointments we have on Monday. Because these appointments are rare on a Monday and combined with my busyness, I completely spaced they were even booked! So I needed to pull the insurance and call them to remind them; pull their files and organize that. Then I left my coworker a note and we were set to leave. I was done in just under 30 minutes.

Once home 🏡 I fixed us some lunch and we went over the gifts for our children and called it good.

We had every intention of hiking, but the temps were in the teens and dropping, plus the nor’easter is no fun to hike in and can be dangerous as well. Combine that with the fact that neither one of us needed exposure to the cold like that because of recent illness, we called off the hike and paced indoors along with a bunch of house chores for me.

Yesterday, our son took our grand-dog ice fishing 🎣 She LOVES to go ice 🧊 fishing! 🎣

She could hardly wait for the finished product!

You should have seen her as our son was using his auger to drill a hole in the ice! Her little tail could not have wagged any faster!🐶

This afternoon, Cyle took up his position by the wood 🪵 stove 🔥
