My Actifit Report Card: May 8 2022🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Hey everybody and thanks for stopping w! Happy Mother’s Day to all of you moms out there!💐

The day began by heading to church ⛪️ It was nice to fellowship with everyone! 🙏😇

Unbeknownst to me, @silvertop worried all through church whether or not he’s unplugged the blow dryer. So after, we headed home to check that and to get him some lunch and a coffee. Then we headed back to Sumas and the tennis court to play a little pickle ball again.

We only played for about 45 minutes as we were headed to My Nursery to find a special plant or two (or three or more)

I found the elusive oriental poppy-finally!!

We’ve been looking for these for quite some time ⏰ now. We had a whole flower bed of these when we lived in Colorado and have wanted to grow them here. If we can just keep the slugs 🐌 from eating them! 😳

I also found a very nice indoor spider 🕷 plant and some edibles like asparagus and Anaheim chilis so it was a productive trip!

I was out of Brussels sprouts, so we went to Winco to take get those and found a few more items to go with them. Then we headed for home 🏡

As soon as we were unloaded and the asparagus ‘heeled’ in, we set out for a short hike 🥾 up to Keith and Lynne’s garden and then headed back home 🏡. It’s been a nice day! 😎👍
