My Actifit Report Card: August 16 2021
Hey everybody and thanks for stopping by!
This weekend past, we contacted a guy off of Craigslist about ordering firewood he had for sale. We thought the delivery was going to be next weekend but he called last night to see if today would work. About 10:30, he came to the house. He was gracious enough to drive his one ton dump back by where @silvertop stacks our wood. This was just before the truck dumped it
This was a 2 cord delivery but he adds 30% to ensure you get your cords. Not only that, it was stacked in the truck-not just thrown in it. It’s a lot of firewood to add to the amount @silvertop feels he needs to hoard, lol!
I then had to roast coffee for a customer and some for us as well. After that was finished, we headed out for a hike. Jan came with.
The weather has finally given us a break! Low 70’s for the high with cloud cover. Still a bit humid, but much easier to stand. We happened upon a snake who I suspect was hunting this little guy.
Needless to say, I helped him hop off in the opposite direction than the one the snake slithered off in. Hopefully he makes it! 🐸
Once home from the hike, I made us mocha frappes. Yum!
A bit of blogging, dinner and a little TV to round out the evening. Tomorrow we will head up into the mountains to a county library that has a DVD on hold for me. Might be scenic as the vine maples are starting to turn.
