RE: Tales of the Urban Explorer: Burnt Farm

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

You are lucky there was no dog in there. Farmers are notorious for leaving a little bit of protection around when they can't be there. Better than a junkyard dog.

That fencing looks so innocent, not like constantine... it hides the fact that it'll rip you a new one, just for the joy. Do you know what the purpose of the tire was? Just hanging out in the barn.

It is perplexing, trying to age this property. I thought it was an old barn, but, has too many new pieces incorporated in it, unless someone refurbished it. Was it torched before or after it was abandoned. Or abandoned because it was burned. That is some pretty expensive-looking equipment. (was)

A pig. Definitely. Until I just read a fish. Maybe a big-mouthed bass.

That shot walking up the dirt road, fenced and the yellow (Yarrow?) on the left... absolutely gorgeous.

No history on this one as is usually the case with old farmhouses. I wasn't expecting a burned out wreck, was a little gutted when we arrived.

The view was a little bit redeeming, however small, it was better than a 100% loss.
