My Actifit Report Card: November 6 2022 - We are alive challenge between the sun and the city centre - IAAC #196
A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
And after 48 hours of uninterrupted monsoon rains the sun has returned to shine brightly in the sky of Naples coloring blue all over the sky. Temperatures have fallen considerably but during the day you can still breathe spring air.
Today I went to my sister for the great Sunday lunch. Her house was liberated from Covid and the quarantine is now an old memory.
Today I met a new grandchild who had my sister. She tried for a long time to get under the baby carriage. In the end I put it in there because he got too big to go in alone. Just after a few moments he fell asleep.
After a long lunch I took the Metro 1 and went down to the Eastern University to take a ride in the so-called via Spaccanapoli or via Benedetto Croce.
For the occasion I entered the church of the New Jesus.
The majestic place of worship built in the place of the palace of the Prince of San Severino.
The church is in Baroque Renaissance style and I could not take a picture of the particular esoteric exterior wall because it was covered with a scaffold, I hope you settle for the interior!

From Piazza del Gesù I took the road at the bottom left to get to another characteristic Neapolitan wide "Piazza Monteoliveto" which is characterized by this beautiful fountain of King Charles II of Spain and the church of Sant'Anna dei Lombardi.
Spectacular is the nuance of the effect of light that I managed to capture on the building next to the church that once housed a convent but is now occupied by a box of the police.
After paying homage to this famous place I returned and I traveled all the way Spaccanapoli to the slow because of the considerable influx of mixed nightlife to tourists who have flocked en masse from all over the world for Sunday museums open doors.
When I arrived in San Domenico Maggiore I chose the base of the characteristic spire of the square to celebrate my #iamalivechallenge 196. It was a long Sunday #alive for the wonderful alleys of the city center.
And, finished the long ride through the historic streets of the pizzerias down via Duomo to take Corso Umberto I in the direction of Piazza Garibaldi crossroads of reference public transport of the Royal city of Naples wonder of the second millennium.
Finally I would like to thank all my friends from the tribe of Alive and all the new friends who happened between the lines of my stories for reading my thoughts and see you at the next actifit report.

Lovely to hear good news from the weather to your sister's household condition. Great that you were able to visit them again this weekend. Interesting that baroque churches look almost the same in the interior. Seeing the photos you shared reminded me of some of our own churches. Looks like a tourist area as it seems busy even at night.
