My Actifit Report Card: September 25 2022 - I Am Alive Challenge - IAAC #154
A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
I woke up this morning abruptly at 7:30. I realized that I was late because I wanted to vote at the opening of the polling station. Today is the big day of the 2022 general election and I knew that time would not hold long.
In fact, opening the balcony I realized that I had to hurry. The bad weather was looming and just the time to shave and dress that I set out to do my duty. At the seat there was a very young and perky team that performed the operations quickly, accurately and carefully.
Back home I make the thought and if it was all a bluff the bad weather? No time to finish thinking and came down an impressive amount of water, wind and cold and flooded all the streets including my backyard. The plant in the picture I think is not well drained. I’ll change it in the morning.
A sudden maritime polar irruption caused a monstrous V-Shaped that covered half of the Tyrrhenian Sea and half of southern Italy causing intense static and self-regenerating thunderstorms. A couple of mighty thunders shook the house from foundation to roof.
From the lightning radar it was clear that they had fallen about 60 km away, what a frightening power!
In the late afternoon, after 10 hours of incessant storms, the weather improves a bit and the rain gives a firm respite, so good that I manage to go down to take a long walk to the various polling stations to learn about the turnout.
It was very low and I believe it! In this time they all waited for the weather to improve.
After dinner I realize that I had not taken the classic celebratory selfie of my #iamalivechallenge that, despite the bad weather conditions, was quite #alive, eventful and in the end I totaled 10k.

Thank you for sharing about your day :) I hope the election results are favorable for you. I can't say the same for us. Time and again I'm disappointed with how the elections turn out here. It is what it is. As a citizen, I do what I can. Sometimes I feel that's not enough. Oh well! Happy week ahead :)
