My Actifit Report Card: April 24 2022 - We are Alive IAAC #23 - I am alive challenge
A dear greeting to all lovers of physical activities that populate the mythical community of Actifit.
The approach of a majestic African high pressure to Southern Italy contrasts an equally powerful low pressure that rages in northern Italy creating a strong storm of wind that bends the trees of the city. But in the end the sun takes hold of the sky and, the latter, is colored by a faded tint of celestial.
Early in the morning, noisy fireworks welcome my awakening while the committees of the Madonna dell'Arco rage on the street in festive ballets in honor of the Madonna who is visited by devotees from the entire province for Easter and Easter Monday. They set out on barefoot pilgrimages to the Shrine which had not seen faithful for two years due to the lockdown. This year the faithful celebrate the return to freedom. This year the holy days was spread over two Sundays to avoid too many gatherings
After eating, seeing a great sun and the air that was fresh and clean, I finally put yours on for the first time this year and went down for a walk that culminated in a half hour of running.
On the way I came across this modern church that colors the landscape of the suburbs amidst the uncultivated land. Even this modern architecture I don't think is up to par with the masterpieces that are in the city.
Taking pictures is nice and it is also an opportunity to take a breath and start #alive again towards the end of my 23th stage of the #iamalivechallenge.
Arriving at the municipal villa my eyes are greeted by the bright blue that frames Vesuvius this afternoon. Finally the sky has won its daily fight against clouds and smog giving us a heavenly composition of nature.
In the municipal villa there is an Emergency clinic, the association of the late Gino Strada which has alleviated the suffering of countless populations whipped by the war. Who knows what he would say today seeing the current situation. We miss you so much Gino! Try to inspire our youth (and the elder) from where you are now.
