I just started using Twitter for the first time in 6 years... All for Steem
I may have a distaste for the biggest names in social media (FB/IG/YT), but if I had to choose my least hated mainstream platform it would be Twitter.
The Good Cop...
Twitter seems to be the most relaxed about their community guidelines. Allowing things such as #porn to run rampant, being one of the last to ban users that get blacklisted by the media. Sometimes even letting the lambasted users stay on Twitter entirely despite pressure from the press.
Somehow I haven't already grown tired of Twitter like I have Instagram, Facebook, and am also starting to with Youtube. This is what allows me to use Twitter now today and more in the future. I will not be keeping Twitter on my iPhone's home screen anytime soon, but I will use it as another outlook of helping my content gain some more traction.
My Twitter Cover Image
I just finished designing a brand new cover image for my Twitter page. I love how it turned out. I went with my usual choice of #sacredgeometry with shades of blue.
What do you think?
Do you need something designed, just ask me and we can discuss.
Follow Me On Twitter @ daltonoSteem
Since I just created this new handle on Twitter, I do not yet have any followers. Do not let that fool you, it really is me. I plan to post tweets reminding users when I post my new videos/blogs. If you want to receive updates, that would be a good place to do so. Otherwise you will have to rely on Steemify, or perhaps luck for a chance to seeing me on your feed.
Do you use Twitter? Are there active Steem communities there that I should join?

Welcome to the Twitterverse, @daltono! I think I was your first follower... 😊
The #seven77 community, led by @nathanmars, is wicked active, and is doing an amazeballs of getting the Steem hash tag out there. I use #SteemTweets all the time, and @felt.buzz's #SteemLove is pretty popular as well.
Happy Tweeting!
Thank you so much.
This is exactly the kind of info I was talking about. I will benefit tremendously from you kind advice.
You're very welcome! Feel free to shout out if you have any questions - I'm far from being an expert on Twitter (despite being there since August 2008, which I only know because @fionasfavourites made me look today... 😂), but I know enough smart people that I could probably help! 😊
Thanks for calling me over @traciyork. @daltano you might also consider following @jaynie (@jaynielea on Twitter) and @raj808 (@rowanj808 on Twitter) as well as @steemitbloggers. All pretty active. 🙂

Good luck. i have tried time and time again to understand it. it's not very user friendly in my opinion. Then again, I'm an old lady so maybe younger people understand it. i just think their notification system extremely confusing. I'll share good reads, and post i see here on blockchain and my post but as far as the notifications. i just can't find which comment went with which post etc... How do you feel about the notification, mention section?
I can figure things out pretty quickly usually. Twitter is pretty barebones anyway. They’d added a few features, but nothing compared to FB.
The notifications are terrible on here. By far the best option for notifications on Steem is Steemify. They allow full customization of what you want to get notified about..

Hello @daltono, thank you for sharing this creative work! We just stopped by to say that you've been upvoted by the @creativecrypto magazine. The Creative Crypto is all about art on the blockchain and learning from creatives like you. Looking forward to crossing paths again soon. Steem on!
Thanks!
