Independence Day 2022
I heard on some podcast a few years back that a small portion of the population has a gene within them that allows to only require 5 hours of sleep to recharge their body and mind rather than the standard 7-8 hours.
I've also heard that adults need 6 hours only, if that's true, I guess 5 hours is not as extreme as it first sounds.
I can function for a day or two with 5-6 hours, but as soon as it becomes a consecutive, extended thing, I start to fatigue bad.
High functioning people, entrepreneurs, former military folk, often claim that they barely sleep and are just always up early getting stuff done. I wish I was that guy sometimes.
I need sleep though, I love sleep. Tomorrow I might try and get up early. Easier said than done.
I just am really proud of myself and how consistent I've been with posting, while also working and being a dad. I just wanna keep going sometimes but this creeping fatigue always gets in the way.
Oh well, sleep is nice.
Today is independence day, and I'm pretty happy about it. Wish I had money to take my son to the local carnival. I'm broke, but I'm playing the long game the best I can. There's been PLENTY of fireworks going off the past week or two.
But I think I'm gonna take my son to the park, and practice hitting the baseball with him. I bought a cheap wiffle ball and bat at my job, he seems excited to go.
Probably gonna be hot as balls, but it will be worth it.
Not a bad way to spend the holiday. I'm very thankful for my freedom and I love America.
Hive on folks.
