CSK was the most consistent team in this year's IPL and KKR were riding on their opening pair's contributions in most of the matches as their middle order never got much exposure and I feel that cost them the trophy.

Eoin Morgan, Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik and even Shakib Al Hassan were all out of form since they arrived in UAE. So, once the opening pair was out, defeat was on the cards for KKR.
