Help...@coininstant - I've been put on the blacklist!

Last night I was put on the @spaminator / @hivewatchers blacklist, for being accused of running a Sunset community Farming Ring.

Apparently @logic over at hivewatchers thinks I'm @theguruasia and @kavii, and that I spend all my time farming a multitude of sunset posts. I assure you I am not, I've known @theguruasia for nearly half a decade, from way back in the STEEM days, he lives halfway across the world in Shrilanka, truthfully there's no way I could fake all that history. The guru and I have probably communicated thousands of times across multiple accounts, it's just not possible.

Also there's no way I could be those two & take pictures all the way out there, and over here on the same day, lol i'm just not that talented. I live in Hawaii, I barely leave the house to take my own sunset pics, honestly I wish had a concord and could jet set out there, but HIVE just hasn't made me a billionaire yet like it would have if all these hives would have been ETH.

I asked hivewatcher-helper what I had done, and was immediately blocked from discord.

How am I supposed to even get off the blacklist if they refuse to hear my appeal? To me this seems pretty shady to block someone for asking a question.

I wasn't rude or anything on hivewatcher, I still think it was very unprofessional of them and i was shocked.

For my last resort I asked @themarkymark for advice, since he always seems to have the answer when it comes to HIVE!

I used to not like themarkymark, but after I got to know him I realized he is not a bad guy.

The Truth, & nothing but the truth, so help me HIVE!

The truth is that I'm not at the top any sort of farming operation, I only post one daily sunset photography pic roll a day, & it's from from this account. What actually happened is @theguru.photos offered to create a few scripts for me, one for @sunset.curator & another for @pob.curator, both accounts which I set up and delegate my hive power to for sharing with friends in the community through the scripts mentoring program.

How do our scripts work?

Both scripts follows mentor votes, specifically designed for @duwiky who authors the posts in both pob.curator & sunset.curator accounts & communities. Duwiky runs the sunset community, made me a moderator, so I set up accounts to upvote his community.

Initially duwiky came to me seeking delegations to the sunsetphotography community, afterwhich I worked with my friend theguru to set up a system for mentoring duwiky's community. Since theguru was working for me, the way I paid him was by letting him use my hivepower for upvotes. We never talked about any monetary arrangements, and the guru always refused any money offered from me, so I figured he deserved some compensation from the upvotes, so everything was ethical from my perspective. I shared my hive power so other people could benefit, the guru is other people, so I didn't think we were doing anything wrong. It's surely better than me just using it all on myself. If upvotes made theguru happy, it would be more likely he would continue developing, and it would be a win win for everyone. And it worked, we got a lot done and even have a new project that we will be launching in a week. We will also take the lessons we learned here and carry them forward by not repeating them them on the next project.

The only question left is, who is this mysterous Kavii?

The truth is Kavii is simply the guru's cousin, she is not a part of any "farming ring" at all. Theguru was simply trying to help his relative get a good education by letting her post and receive upvotes. Since she is just a student trying to make her way through the gauntlet of life, he shared some of the upvotes he could have been using to help someone in his family. And according to the guru, it worked and she used the funds to work her way through school.

Who kavii is shouldn't be anyone else's business but theguru's anyway. However since the hive watchers blew this whole situation out into the open, the point is mute. The problem with hivewatchers is not that they are watching everything, but that they are assuming too much, and in my case they assumed no one would simply give away curation money to be generous, thus all these accounts must be the @coininstant, the evil farming worldwide mastermind! lol by now hopefully you can see where the truth lies, the truth is that these people at hivewatchers think the worst of other people because that is how they think about themselves. Hivewatchers could be all scrooges that decide everyone is guilty until proven innocent, instead of the other way around like the American way.

What's Next?

In order to get off the hivewatchers blacklist i'm supposed to create an apology letter, but when I was trying to write that apology letter up I realized the only lie was the apology because i'm totally innocent and not guilty of anything. The way I'm using my HIVE is perfectly fine, and it is exactly how one should do it to help better communities, truthfully I have no regrets, and f I had to do it all over, I would.

None of us at the pob, or sunset community conspired to do anything wrong, all we did was work together to try and create a better system for rewarding with others. And through the process we shared a lot, we created tons of curation, and no complaints were filed against us until this last blacklist that just appeared yesterday.

As you can see, in the past 7 days I only took in 3.95%, so for being a big ring leader, either I failed miserably at farming, or I wasn't even trying to farm. I want hive to go up, so I have an incentive not to mess with the hive, that's why I was trying to help it instead!

It looks like i'm right in the median here at 3.95% not too much, not too little, but jsut right! Sure I own the sunset.curator and pob.curator accounts, but i'm developing for hive so those funds will end up trickling back up to the community! Developers deserve some compensation for their work.

Now let's look at something different, let's look at leo.voter.

I don't see much difference, the names are changed, but everything looks the same. Some of their accounts look even more concentrated at the top, with the same handful of accounts receiving the "Lion-share" of votes - pun intended lol. It seems like the leo community could share the wealth more, but it's not necessary because because whatever they are doing, it's surely legal, they are the leaders who set the example for all of us to follow. We saw what they were doing, figured it was correct, and simply modeled our program in a similar fashion. If it's ok for them, then it should be ok for other curators like us, what we do is normal, so I don't deserve to be blacklisted like a common troll just for enterprising.

So that was my big drama for the day!

Talk about nerdy drama, at least it made for a pretty good rant and blog post, if anything. I won't be mentioning this again, but I thought it was interesting to note.

Now with no further ado...it's time to check out tonight's milky sunset post!

Today it was dark and cloudy, i almost didn't want to go up onto the roof and make a post tonight because of all the drama and potential embarrassment I may encounter doing so. This shot below was just from the deck, before I actually climbed up onto the roof! You can't actually see them, but those are thick fog like clouds layered in front of the sun. The sun is so hot that it still burned a hole through the mist anyway, giving me a shot like this (below):

Old Steemit Clouds in the sky!

Days like today make me think about steemit, and why it failed. These clouds reminded me of STEEM. Hopefully HIVE won't follow the path down like steemit did. All these rules and hivewatchers not watching the right things makes me worry that HIVE won't make it. I think the chances of it making it are less than not, so we all have to be careful not to mess it up. Cances are HIVE will be back at 10 cents again if we don't break out above one dollar or two soon, and stay this time!

Every sunset is like a fingerprint, no two are ever the same. This is why it's possible to take a picture of the sun every day and always come up with a unique post, which is really good for curating.
