You're really selling the place aren't you, with all that talk about the unbearable heat!
Wasps in Corfu are a constant bother. The trick is to take no notice of them.

I can't remember the wasp problem last time I went but it was October. They could have been dying by then. These insects were rampant and one outdoor table where a couple was eating had to be abandoned.
