The birth of a saviour
Make waves all men
The healer comes in a manger
Sing praises unto God
He comes lowly
To save the high and mighty
Bring out of hell, the damned
Show the world a different way
Closer to the Father
Nearer to God
For He comes in a manger
A lowly born.

Never tired to save
His elm heals the sick
Never weary for a day
Proclaiming the love of God
Never stop the parable
The prodigal, the wheat, the servant, a light
All pointing to one
Return to the Father oh man
Never stop saying
"God loves man".

And to us the promise was given
A proclamation to make known
That Christ was born to save
Mend the broken heart
Make strong the weak
Bind together the shattered
Prepare ready for His second coming
A holy and blameless lamb, as He is
Christ, the hope of salvation.
