Przyszła.
Liście już spadają, świat nabiera tych zgnitych kolorów, które tak urzekają co poniektórych, a innych wpędzają w delikatną rozpacz.

She has come.
The leaves are already falling, the world is taking on those rotten colors that captivate some people and drive others into delicate despair.

Ja osobiście należę do tych drugich, więc z całej palety barw na poniedziałkowym spacerze zachwyciła mnie żywa, nie-jesienna żółć niezłomnej roślinki na brzegu nad rozlewiskiem (słonecznik bulwiasty? twierdzi google).

I personally belong to the latter, so I was enchanted by the vivid, non-autumn yellow of the unbreakable plant on the shore by the pool (Jerusalem artichoke - says google) from the entire palette of colors on the Monday walk.

Nie tylko ja jestem urażona tym wszystkim - kaczki też bardzo dziś osowiałe.

I am not the only one who is offended by all this - the ducks are also very depressed today.

Nie martwcie się kaczuszki! Jeszcze tylko osiem miesięcy i znowu będzie ładnie.

Don't worry ducklings! Only eight more months and it'll be nice again.

Żeby nie było, że nie dostrzegam pozytywów jesieni - pięknie zaowocowały nam jabłonki w okolicy. Jabłka prosto z tutejszych drzewek są pyszne i do schrupania na świeżo i do placuszków, a Bomblowi sprawia dziką radość obserwacja Starych skaczących do obfitych gałęzi.
Mnie już mniej, bo wczoraj zaatakował mnie robal.
I szczerze mówiąc, to wolę kupować sobie jabłka i inne owoce w markecie, byle było lato. Więc to taki tyci pozytyw ;)

You can't say I don't see the positives of autumn - apple trees in the area have borne us beautifully. Apples straight from the local trees are delicious to be eaten fresh as well as in pancakes, and the Baby wildly enjoys watching the Old ones jumping into abundant branches.
I now enjoy this less because I was attacked by an apple bug yesterday.
And to be honest, I prefer to buy apples and other fruits in a supermarket, as long as it is summer. So it's such a tiny positive ;)
