Tom Brady 2021 Donruss/Panini NFL Card - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback

Tom Brady is probably the most famous athlete in America. Perhaps LeBron might be more famous BUT considering football is more popular, and the fact LeBron has somewhat began to decline the past two seasons, I'd give Brady the edge in terms of popularity at this point in time in 2022. In terms of GLOBAL popularity, I'd still probably put Brady in the top ten, maybe even top five on earth.

Since Tom is extremely famous, it's not exactly challenging to get your hands on a Tom Brady football card. There's probably millions of them out there.

Still, I am not sure how many Tom Brady cards I truly do own if I think about it. Also, it's never really a bad thing to own an all time great's card. I mean, Tom might actually be the greatest ever. Despite the many Tom cards that exist in the world, Tom has had such an epic career that the market for Tom Brady cards will always exist. Like, forever.

Also, in terms of Tom Brady cards, this card here is ever so slightly rarer. Tom spent most of his career as a New England Patriot, so odds are if you own a Tom Brady card, it's with him as a member of the Patriots.

Two years ago however, as a man well into his forties, Tom pretty much shocked the world and went and joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he's been ever since and is about to enter his third season with the franchise as a 45 year old man.

So yeah, mathematically speaking, I think it's pretty fair to say there are a lot less Tampa Tom Cards than there are New England Tom cards.

I think that football fans everywhere are still kinda in shock that Brady is not a Patriot, even though it's been this long. Football fans everywhere are also still just shocked he's playing at all at age 45.

Tom is at the point where he's near football god status. I was watching Spongebob and Blue's Clues when he won his first Super Bowl. He's still dominating as I am a father and am slowly approaching my 30's.

Fans and players want the man to just retire unless he's on your team. He's just a menace at this point. Tom is not even a player anymore, he's more like a force of football nature. A football truth. It's actually like that, it's so weird.

I guess this is what it must have felt like to watch Jordan in his prime. Some years it just feels like all the other teams are playing for nothing, because Tom is just gonna come by and ruin everything anyway.

The man has won seven Super Bowls. Countless awards and records broken. They should just put him in the Hall of Fame now. People will be praising Tom Brady's greatness for generations to come.

There's been one near retirement by Brady, and definitely a fair bit of speculation towards him retiring soon.

But the fact remains, he has not retired. He is still playing. Why? Because the man is a savage and shows zero mercy.

Who knows when he's really gonna retire at this point. As much as fans and even myself, want him to retire, the day he does, will be actually really sad.

The day he retires, these cards that are so plentiful now, will be done being made unless it's some sort of re-print/throwback card.

True cards like these from his playing days, will be done. I'm glad to own any of the GOAT's cards.

I wonder how many die hard Pats, or even Bucs fans, are hoarding Tom cards, they gotta be out there!

It's still so trippy to see him in a Bucs uniform.

Anyway, cheers to the GOAT. Please retire soon though, thanks. HAHAHA.
