King Henry πŸ‘‘ finally gets the respect he deserves, coming in at #4 in NFL's Top 100 Players of 2021

To some people, Derrick Henry is too big, isn't known to receive the ball at a high level. Combine that with the fact that I guess he plays in a small market of Nashville, he just sorta gets overlooked at times. It's crazy because the man is a game-changing type of player. If he runs for 2,500, or even 3k you heard it here first... There is an additional game nowadays too.

But anyways, the point of this post is to appreciate the fact that King Henry definitely got some respect in the NFL's annual Top 100 Players list that's determined by player votes.

This is pretty epic!! A Titans player considered a straight up top five player! #4 It's great seeing some mainstream attention on the team. To be on a list like this is pretty legit!

Top 5 Players of 2021

  1. Patrick Mahomes, QB Kansas City Chiefs
  2. Aaron Donald, DE Los Angeles Rams
  3. Aaron Rodgers, QB Green Bay Packers
  4. Derrick Henry, RB Tennessee Titans
  5. Travis Kelce, TE Kansas City Chiefs

Derrick Henry has led the league in rushing for two consecutive years, and just ran for 2,000 yards. He was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2020.

He's a live horse back there man. 6'4" and people suspect he's easily over 250 pounds. He runs like he's 5'11", 200 punds.

He's a super special player. It will be sad to see him retire one day, but until then I think he's still right in his prime. With Julio Jones on the team, there's gonna be some BIG holes in 2021.

This actually might be my favorite highlight of Henry's from last season. Game winning touchdown against a rival, in overtime. Just a tough grimy game. It may be raining in this game? I could be wrong, but this run was just great.

I'm SOOOOO ready for more King Henry touchdowns in 2021 and beyond!!!

Football can't come soon enough man!!
