#4 Irene Aldana vs #10 Macy Chiasson is a very intriguing matchup in the UFC's Women's Bantamweight division.

Irene Aldana is a Mexican fighter that's been in the UFC for nearly six years, her first fight occurring on December 16th, 2016 in Las Vegas. Aldana is a treat to watch, she's a really clean, elite striker. She should get a title shot one of these days soon. She's 6-2 in the UFC since January of 2018.

Macy Chiasson is a very gritty fighter, who throws some killer knees.

Macy was actually the winner of the Ultimate Fighter 28 as a featherweight on November 30th, 2018. Nearly four years later Chiasson has been good enough to stick around the UFC. Starting on March 2nd, 2019 at UFC 235 with a win over Gina Mazany, Chiasson has compiled a UFC record of 5-2.

I feel like maybe Chiasson is a bit too stiff for this matchup. Aldana can be an absolute sniper, and has great balance and agility. For Chiasson to win she'll have to fight like Nate Diaz, unorthodox, clinch work and dirty boxing, be scrappy, great cardio, come into the fight with a plan. But I think Aldana's better technical skills and athletic ability will be the difference. Chiasson is the slightly larger woman but I don't think that her size will play a factor.

I got Aldana by second round TKO.
