Merry Christmas folks. Millions of cards will be gifted today. That's a wonderful thing. I've got a lot of amazing memories opening up cards on Christmas morning.

I love the older cards I have. I would love to get some more! The photography, the style of the card, just everything. Learning about older players is also just really cool. Feels like a sports time machine.

I vaguely remember Curtis Conway playing. He was obviously a solid receiver and his name is just pretty catchy.

Curtis ended up playing four more seasons after this card was printed. From 1993-2004. He had a very good NFL career! I'm mildly surprised he never made a Pro Bowl. He never really achieved any awards in his NFL career but he was still very productive. Here's some notable career milestones for Curtis Conway:

  • 8,230 career receiving yards
  • 594 career receptions
  • 52 career TD receptions
  • 3x 1,000 receiving yards in a season. 1995-96, 2001
  • His lowest reception total in a season (19) was as a rookie. That is practically 50 receptions a season for 12 seasons. Impressive!

Here is Conway as a Charger!

Conway played for the Bears, Chargers, Jets, and the 49ers. He's married to Laila Ali, Muhammad Ali's daughter.

Curtis had a great NFL career, I definitely learned a couple things.

Keep sharing those cards!
